Regarding the 'outdoor provision' question – it has been commented that the area is too small to meet the children's needs.

Pre-school response: We are aware of the limitations of our outdoor space, and try to make the best of this area. We also try to take the children to the MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) and play park as often as possible, and will make more effort to do this more often this term.

Pre-school response: Thank you for your complimentary and positive comments about the staff! We will continue to monitor the children's progress and feed information back to your through our termly parent meetings, but please speak to us whenever you need to if you have any queries or concerns in the meantime.

'It would be great to see even more opportunities for writing and numbers to push children on in the last summer term before school'.

'More trips out into the local community'.

'A new building would be amazing to have the children's work displayed and not in the small room'.

'As children near school age it would be great to know some ways we can support them at home to prepare for school both emotionally and academically – ideas of early phonic activities, e.g. Rhyming games etc, would be really handy''.

'Really pleased with how welcome our daughter was made to feel'.

'It is a very happy, well run pre-school. Everyone is always helpful and enthusiastic'.

'Thank you for providing such a warm, welcoming environment and so many fun crafts and activities. My child always looks forward to pre-school, and even asks if she can go in the holidays'!

We need to continue our fundraising activities to raise money for resources and also to raise our profile. Please make any suggestions for fundraising events that you feel would be appropriate/well-supported etc.

Your suggestions:

'Sell calendars with pictures of children's drawings/group drawings – ie handprints/faces/Christmas scenes etc'.

'Tea towels with handprints/picture'.

'Ask Andover College if trainee photographer with fixed price wants to come and take pics the parents can order and pre-school can print directly, maybe with spring/summer/winter/autumn theme'.

'In the future it would be fantastic if you were able to have your own building so we would support any fundraising that you suggested'.

'Everyone love the school Christmas cards (the published ones) – could you make Birthday cards/greeting cards'?

'Sponsored bounce – hire a bouncy castle and get the children to get sponsored'.

'A car wash - £5 per car at the village hall one Sat morning'.

'A notice board for parents! We are always selling stuff and looking for new bargains etc. 50p a notice for a week. Every penny helps'!

'My friend's children once took part in a sponsored bounce. A bouncy castle was hired and children were sponsored for how many bounces they could complete in 2 minutes'.
